Oh man, you had me until go to church!
And actually, donate wasn't such a good idea either.
Here's my pet theory on why fundraisers don't generally donate to causes.
We can see through the hype.
And we know that most of the time nonprofits aren't doing nearly all of the work that they say they are.
Let's face it, a nonprofit would have to be doing some seriously incredible work to have a fundraiser give to it.
Also, what about the muslim, jewish, pagan, hindu fundraisers? Let's try for cultural sensitivity, eh?
